LaDonna Marie Chopp, age 74, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at her home.

LaDonna was born in 1950 to Jorgen "Jerry" and Darlene Kjostad in Grand Rapids, MN. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School and then attended Itasca Community College and Hibbing Community College for the nursing program.  On May 31, 1978, she was united in marriage to Dr. Richard T. Chopp.  LaDonna was a registered nurse at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. She loved flowers, watching birds, spending time with her family and cats, and shopping especially at JcPenney and Terra Reflections.

LaDonna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and son, Michael "Mike" Green. She is survived by her sister, Brenda (Gary) Valtinson of Cohasset, MN; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Solid Rock Church of God, LaPrairie, MN and a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.  Pastor Mary Fultz will officiate. Burial will be at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
