Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" Reinhold Webinger passed away on March 28, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota at the age of 83.  Born on April 28, 1941 Larry lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and joy.

In January 1961, Lawrence married Janice Ferkingstad.  Their enduring marriage was a testament to deep love and unwavering support.  In her later years, Lawrence remained faithfully by Janice's side with heartfelt devotion.

He is lovingly remembered by his four children, Lisa (John) Weidt, Cindy (Bill) Pulles, Kristi (Bob) Spawn, and Daniel Webinger; grandchildren, Troy, Rene', and Joshua; great grandchildren, Tyler, Aaron, Evan, Ryan, Joleigh, and Bryn.  He is also remembered by his sister, Sandra Fredrikson; brother, Robert Webinger (Stephanie); sister-in-law, Lucille Webinger; and many other dear relatives.

Larry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice; parents, Walter and Anna; sisters, Vianna Hagen (Mark), Rita Schultz (Edward), Betty Yates-Evans (Ted) (Donald), Helen Walters (Guy) (Mike Lindbloom), and Lavaun Kondrak (Donald); as well as brothers, Walter Webinger, Jr. and Roger Webinger (Sue).

Throughout his career at Medko Stamping in New Hope, Metal Fabricators in Clear Lake, Iowa, and All-American Engineering in White Bear Lake, Lawrence earned the respect of those around him through his strong work ethic and commitment.

His passions brought color to life – dancing to polka music from Molly B or The Big Joe Polka Show, fishing and fishing trips with family and friends, camper bus and RV adventures, working on vehicles and classic cars, classic car shows, and time spent with his dogs, Lily and Apache.  He especially treasured visiting his wife, Janice with Lily during her rehabilitation and hospital stays.

A Celebration of Larence's Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at The Lookout, 8672 Pineview Lane North, Maple Grove, Minnesota. Gathering begins at 11:00 AM with a luncheon at Noon. Memorial donations may be made to an animal organization of the donor's choice.
