Lee Charles Mix, age 73 of Hill City, Minnesota passed away July 9, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.  He was born May 22, 1951 to Lyle and Lucille Mix in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 2005, Lee was married to Louise.

"Mixer" as many called him, was the owner and operator of Fox Electric of the Twin Cities for 20 plus years.  He had a strong passion for sports. Mixer played on many softball teams, participated in golf tournaments, bowled on a few teams, and loved to downhill ski. He did many fishing trips to Lake of the Woods where he caught his trophy walleye.

Mixer hosted a Fantasy Football League for many years. He also coached for his kids, Mallory and Kenny in basketball and softball. Most of all, he loved talking sports, whether on the phone or on a bar stool having a cold one! He was a member of the S.A.L. of Brooklyn Center American Legion.

Lee will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Louise; son, Kenny; daughter, Mallory; stepdaughter, Amanda; two grandchildren, Waylon and Walker; one step grandson, Dyllan; other relatives and many friends.

Two Celebration of Life events are planned.  On Saturday, September 7, 2024, a Celebration of Lee's Life will take place from 1:00  -  5:00 pm at Palmer Lake VFW in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.  Then, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, a celebration to honor Lee will be held from 12:00 Noon  -  3 pm at the Spang Hall in Spang Township, Minnesota.

Lee's resting place will be in the Hill Lake Cemetery, Hill City, Minnesota.
