Linda Louise Bushey, age 75, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Grand Village in Grand Rapids, MN.

Linda was born in 1948 in Bemidji, Minnesota to August and Sylvia Kapella. She grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota and later graduated from Hibbing High School. She was joined in matrimony to Robert Bushey and they established their residence in Gilbert, Minnesota. Linda had a strong work ethic, working the majority of her career as an administrative assistant at Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA), retiring in 2008.  She was a highly devoted mother. Linda enjoyed going to stock car races, reading, solving puzzles, and engaging in painting. She resided on the Iron Range for the majority of her life.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sister, Kimberly Kapella and sister-in-law, Sherry Kapella. She is survived by her daughter, Traci (Tim) Kapella Kasper; son, Christopher (Angie) Kapella; grandchildren, Kayla Seelye, Charmane "Charli" Seelye, Ty Seelye, Avery Kapella, Beckett Kapella, Cody Kasper, and Tyler (Arielle) Kasper; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry Kapella, Pat Kapella, and Ken (Becky) Kapella; Bushey family, other relatives, and many friends.

A visitation will be held at 10 AM on Friday, March 22, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gilbert, MN with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM.  Father Babu Mandagiri will officiate.  Interment will follow at Gilbert Cemetery in Gilbert, MN.
