Louis E. Perrington age 71, of Deer River, MN passed away at home, Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Louis was the son of Leonard and Nadine (Heinzer) Perrington and was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  Louie graduated from Deer River High School.  Following high school, Louie became a member of the Teamsters Union Local 346.  Throughout his working career, Louie worked on the pipeline in many states from Minnesota to Texas as well as other locations.

Upon retirement, Louie was able to enjoy his favorite hobby, fishing. He was also an avid hunter.  He truly loved animals, especially his dog, Buster.   Being retired allowed him to spend more time with his family.  He will be missed by his family and many of his friends from the Teamsters Union.

Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Nadine; brothers, Jess Perrington and Steve Perrington; and sister, Patricia L. Lundgren.

He is survived by his daughters, Jodi (Kendyl) Barnes and Sam (Jamie) Peterson; his sons, Travis (Joyce) Perrington, Stuart (Angie) Perrington, Clint Perrington (Gretchen Taubel), and Jake (Amy) Perrington; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Jim) Hanson and Patty (Eric) Henry; brothers, Bill (Mel) Perrington, Joe (Dian) Perrington, Rick (Jayne) Perrington, Tom (Sheila) Perrington, Boone (Mary) Perrington, Paul Perrington, and Gary (Em) Perrington; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Per Louie's request, no formal funeral service will be held.  A Graveside Gathering to celebrate his life will be held on June 18, 2025 at the Perrington Boot Hill Cemetery.
