Lucille (Waydula) Walsh, age 90, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Talamore Senior Living facility in St Cloud, MN.

Lucy was born in Shovel Lake, MN to Peter and Ina Waydula. They moved to the Grand Rapids area where she graduated from Greenway High School.

She married Gerald Walsh on September 6, 1958, in Grand Rapids. Throughout her career, she worked for 1st National Bank, King Lumber Company, Itasca Creamery, the Itasca Courthouse, Davis Oil, and H&R Block. After she retired, she became a full-time caregiver for her husband who suffered from ALS and Waldenstrom Lymphoma. She enjoyed cross country skiing, walking, biking, bowling, and fishing.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, parents, sisters: Irene (Wayne) Weller, Darlene (Gerald) Deming, and Shirley (Dale) Smith; and grandson-in-law, Ryan Lynch.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Deb), Gary (Karla) and Terry; grandchildren, Heidi (Nathan) Yager, Heather Lynch, Kiya (Andrew) Knable, Tasha (Dominic) Bonacci, Marissa Walsh; great grandchildren, Emmitt and Rowan Yager and Bauer Knable; brother, Bill (Marge); and sister Lavonne Cook.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 12:00 PM funeral service. Rev. Jim Crecelius will officiate. Burial will be at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred for the Grand Rapids United Methodist Church or the Minnesota ALS Association.
