Michael Kenneth Mitchell, age 33, of Grand Rapids, MN, formerly of North Branch, MN, passed away unexpectedly, in his sleep on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Michael was born on December 1, 1989 in Cambridge, MN to Greg and Jodi (Bittner) Mitchell. He grew up in North Branch and graduated from NBHS. He loved fishing, hunting, and working on small engines. He will be remembered as a kind soul with a big heart who loved his family and friends dearly.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Sharon Mitchell.

Michael is survived by his parents, Greg and Jodi Mitchell of Remer, MN; brother, Nick (Michelle) Mitchell; nephew, Xavier Mitchell; maternal grandparents, Ken and Karen Bittner of Askov, MN; uncles: Jeff (Dotzie Kohnen) Bittner, Robert (Patti) Mitchell, Tony (Sherry) Mitchell; and Scott Mitchell; aunts, Barb (David) Currier and Shannon Meier; and many cousins and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Church of Victory, Askov, MN, with visitation beginning one hour prior at the church .
