Obituary

Morris "Mike" O. Hagblom passed away unexpectedly from complications of agent orange on May 14, 2024, at his residence in Warba MN at the age of 75.

Mike was born on March 21, 1949, in Devil's Lake, North Dakota. Mike enlisted in the Marines in July of 1967. Mike took his first leave in Big Falls, which he considered his hometown. Couldn't live with him and couldn't live without him.

Mike was honorably discharged from the Marines on November 20, 2004. He received many medals and ribbons; most notably two purple hearts. He was very proud of his logging career. Mike worked for several different logging companies, and he was passionate about all of them.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Jean and father, Morris Sr.; brothers, David Hagblom, Robert Fuhrman, and Donald Hagblom.

Mike is survived by siblings, Richard (Irene) Hagblom, Bonnie Coddington, Connie Hagblom and Robin Hagblom; several nieces and nephews; and Jerrie Hagblom-ex wife and best friend, and her family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1pm at the Evergreen Cemetery, Big Falls, MN with honors by the Marine Honor Guard. Following the service, a light lunch will be served in the Big Falls Legion Room.
