Myrl Annette (Anderson) Seledic, age 95, of Grand Rapids, MN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Myrl was born on February 28, 1929, to Arthur and Anna Anderson in Racine, WI. She and her three sisters grew up in South Minneapolis. Myrl graduated from South High School in 1946 and then attended the Minneapolis School of Art. Myrl was a talented painter though too humble to admit it. She married Paul Stephan Seledic on February 5, 1955. They moved to Burnsville, MN and there raised their two children, Paulette and Neil.
Myrl loved Jesus. She and Paul were active in their church and dedicated their time to ministering to new believers and to healing the hurt and lost. She was active in Aglow in the cities and Christian Women's Club later in Grand Rapids.
She was a giver at heart and lived out Acts 20:35, "It is more blessed to give than to receive". Myrl loved to serve friends and family. Everyone loved her amazing cooking and she always used her best dishes to serve, no matter the occasion.
Myrl is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul who was the love of her life; sisters, Anita Jurchisin, Carol Anderson; and her beloved grandchildren, April and Markus Saunders.
She is survived by her son, Neil (Julie) Seledic; daughter, Paulette (Jim) Saunders; grandson, Hunter Seledic; sister, Audrey Wesley; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00PM at Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 2:00PM memorial service. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset, MN at a later date.
