Nancy Lee Carlson, age 66, of Warba, MN, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Nancy was born in 1957 to Owen and Helen McCartney in Grand Rapids, MN. She grew up in Warba and graduated from Grand Rapids High School. She meet Mark Carlson through mutual friends and later the pair married in 1987. Nancy worked at Arrowhead Promotions for 31 years and retired in 2017. Nancy was a huge Minnesota Twins fan and can be remembered for her big heart, beautiful smile and her laugh. She was a member of the EMT for Warba Feeley Fire Department. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, going on road trips, four wheeling, camp fires, playing softball for Arrowhead Promotions, and crossword puzzles. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Doug (Norma) McCartney, and brother-in-law, Bill Dollansky. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark; son, Joshua (Jeanette) McCartney; sister, Wendy Dollansky; brothers, Michael (Laura) McCartney, and Brian (Debbie) McCartney; and grandchildren, Ethan, Megan, Kayla, Tayler and Adrian.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Warba Community Center beginning at 1:00 PM and lasting until 4:00 PM.

Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
