Nancy Elizabeth Massaro, 87, formerly of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away in Rochester, MN on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 wonderful years, Richard Massaro. She will be dearly missed by her children - Tim, Steve (Joni), Andy (Chris) and Liz (John Koehler). Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren - Carissa, Alex, Amanda, Eric, Suzanna, Tony, Mia and Ashley, as well as 8 great-grandchildren; brother, David Griffin and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Leslie Griffin; sister, Meredith McMinn; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Born in Colby, Kansas she also lived in Moline, IL, Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Grand Rapids, MN, Storm Lake, IA and Rochester, MN. Her job as a home economics teacher was well utilized within her life through the delicious food and sewing projects she shared with her family and others. As the wife of a minister, she was a partner with her husband in many volunteer positions in each of the towns they called home at the moment. But her favorite times were spent enjoying the outdoors - especially at the cabin in Northern Minnesota.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Community Presbyterian Church, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 1:00 PM memorial service. Pastor Mary Shideler will officiate.
