Patricia A. Clairmont, age 90, of Grand Rapids, MN died Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Deer River Health Care Center, Deer River, MN.

Pat was born in 1936 to Orin and Bernice Nimlos in Cass County, MN. She grew up in Cohasset, MN, attending school in Cohasset and Grand Rapids. After graduation Pat began working in the meat department wrapping meat. She worked for several grocery stores, ending her career at Miner's after 41 years. Through mutual friends, Pat met Ramon Clairmont and they were later married on September 17, 1955. Together they raised four sons and hosted 55 exchange students, mostly from Germany.

Pat was a member of the Eagles, Itasca Curling Club, and the North Star Women's Club. She enjoyed crafting and volleyball in her youth.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ramon; and siblings, Lenard, Johnny, and Ione.

Pat is survived by her sons, Norman, Ken, David, and Arthur, grandchildren, Nicole, Jenice, Nick, Kenny, April, Michael, Caiden, and Mac; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on June 20, 2026, with a graveside service at 10:00am at Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset, MN and continuing at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Grand Rapids, MN at 11:00am.
