Patricia Lou (Heddens) Hanson , was born on October 29, 1935 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota the middle child of Ralph Vernon and Margaret Eva (Nattress) Heddens.  She attended school and graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to Raymond "Pete" Hanson August 20, 1955.  To this union three children were born.

Pat lived a full and vibrant life that touched countless people along the way. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, her community and her faith.  Working as a school cook for 25 years, as a member of the Sweet Adeline singing group, along with volunteering at the Salvation Army and going on worldwide mission trips well into her 70's. She was a person who lived her life to the fullest; always willing to share her time and talents, walking in the woods to collect flowers and berries, regardless of where she was, each "trip" outdoors an adventure.  She enjoyed delicious meals, always including dessert.

Pat died peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Morris MN.

She is survived by her brother Raymond Vernon (Darlene) Heddens; children; Terrance Raymond (Jeannie) Hanson, Tina Eva (Robert) Charles, Timothy Rungwell (Kim) Hanson, granddaughter Julia Grace Hanson and step-granddaughter Dena Lillian Sanders along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond (Pete) May 17,1970, and sister Meartia (Heddens) Bevins.

Celebration of the Life of Pat will be on May 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the First Church of God in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  All are Welcome.

In our lives for a while…. In our hearts forever. She is now singing with those who lead the way.
