Patrick Harold Hagen
November 23, 1967- 2026
Patrick Harold Hagen, 58, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by love after a difficult journey, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and stories that will never be forgotten. Patrick was born on November 23, 1967, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Patrick was a skilled diesel mechanic who took pride in hard work and doing things his own way. He had a deep love for fishing, cheering on the Minnesota Wild, and spending time with friends and family. Patrick truly was the life of the party and quick with a joke, always ready for a good time, and happiest when surrounded by the people he cared about.
More than anything, Patrick loved his stepchildren and the people close to him. Even during his own struggles and suffering, he found genuine happiness in the accomplishments and joy of others. That was one of the many things that made him special and his ability to celebrate others even when life was hard for him.
Patrick lived life fully and unapologetically. He was stubborn, independent, and strong-willed, but beneath that toughness was a man with an incredibly big heart. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his loyalty, his love for those around him, and the unforgettable presence he brought into every room.
Patrick was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Lyman and Andrew and Sylvia Hagen.
He is survived by: his parents, Jim and Carol Hagen; his sisters, Jamie (Pete) O'Toole and Andrea Hagen; his stepchildren, Cassandra (John) Miller, Samantha Wright, and Logan (Delia) Wright; and his grandchildren, Donna, Elijah, Anthony, Kendra, Elora, Raven, Uriah, Gabriella, and Lorenzo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Until we meet again, Patrick's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who loved him.
