Richard "Dick" Dale Black, age 89, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Grand Itasca Hospital and Clinic in Grand Rapids, MN.

Richard was born in 1936 to Arvid and Blanche Black in Mentor, MN. The family later moved to Grand Rapids, MN where Dick graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1954. Three months after his discharge the pair was married on November 21, 1958. Dick was the vice president of Grand Rapids State Bank for 30 years. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, becoming a Golden Eagle.

Dick enjoyed fishing, grouse and pheasant hunting, camping, woodworking, and was an avid bowler. He loved to travel and drove his motorcycle all over the country with Denice right behind him. Those who know him will remember Dick as a funny guy who loved to tell jokes.
