Richard Steven Lallak, 67, of McGregor, MN passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 at the Emerald's of Grand Rapids, MN.

He was surrounded with compassionate care from Moment's Hospice while battling bladder and liver cancers and an intracranial hemorrhage.
Born February 9, 1959, spending most of his life in Shakopee, giving a strong dedication to his career of many years earning respect of those who worked alongside him–obtaining a nickname, "Lollipop".

Richard had a deep love for life's simple pleasures. He found joy in hours of fishing his secret spots accompanied by his beloved fishing partner and best friend of the past decade, Lola. Together they shared countless memories and supported one another through life's challenges. Music was his passion that brought him happiness; he enjoyed playing his selected songs for others at gatherings. Card games and waltzes were also a favorite passtime.

Richard cherished his furry companions as well–Murphy, his beautiful Shihtzu and Peanut, a spirited Chihuahua who brought light into his life.
Family was central to Richard's heart. His is survived by his son, Andrew and Andrew's daughter, Alaina Gamerschlag of Grand Marais MN; his sister, Mary Ann; nephew, Michael; brothers George (Marlene) and Jim (Melinda) as well as Lola who stood by his side through thick and thin.
He was predeceased by his parents Marcella Ann and George Martin Lallak; a son, Brandon; wife, Joyce; sister, Margaret and brother Johnny.
Richard's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Now you are free of this world. I will always love you, my "lollipop".

Richard's wishes were cremation and no service.
