Rita F. Heaser age 81, of Warba, MN passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at Home and Comfort, Coleraine, MN.

Rita Faye Heaser (Seeley) was born in 1944 in Deer River, MN, the eldest of six children to Marjorie (Braford) and Harvey Seeley.  She grew up in Bovey "Trout Lake."   Rita became the proud mother of five children.  After most of her children were grown, she went back to school at Hibbing Community College earning her Licensed Practical Nurse degree where she worked in a variety of care environments.

In December 1984, Rita was united in marriage to James Heaser and together, they made their home on Shallow Lake, near Warba, MN.

Rita was the spiritual matriarch of her family.  As an elder of the Community of Christ, she married, blessed, and baptized many of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She loved being with her family and was always there for the special moments. She was truly one of a kind.

Rita is survived by her children, Suzanne Carter, George (Kasey) Kangas, Danny Kangas, Sandra (Kim) Bernard, and William Kangas, Jr.; her step-children, Valerie Heaser and Ronald (Shari) Heaser; 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Harvey (Evelyn) Seeley, Steve (Linda) Seeley, and Roger Seeley; one sister, Beverly (Perry) Jarva; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Heaser in 2021; her parents; brother, Paul "Luke" Seeley; and step-son, Kurt Heaser.

A Celebration of Rita's Life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 3 PM at the Warba Community Center, Warba, MN.
