Robert Leslie Davis, age 85 of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, July 26,2024, at The Pillars of Grand Rapids.

Robert "Bob" was born February 8, 1939, in Grand Rapids, MN to Albert and Alice (Lindhart) Davis. Bob graduated with the Class of 1957 from Deer River High School.

On August 2,1958 he was united in marriage to Betty Jane Johnson in Deer River, Minnesota. Bob and Betty raised their family and have resided in Grand Rapids their entire married life. Bob had a long career with Blandin Paper Company where he worked as a machinist.  He retired after 32 years of service in 1995.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, Rv'ing, and classic cars.

Bob is survived by his wife Betty of Grand Rapids; sons Tim (Mary) Davis (Mary) of Brainerd, MN, and Tom (Rollin) Anton of Palm Springs, CA.; daughter Terri (Scott) Hurley of Saint Peter, MN; 4 grandchildren Jason Davis, Stephanie Morris, Bernie Nichols, Josh Davis.; 1 great grandchild Ryannon Varin-Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

A visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, MN, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. The Reverend David N. Anderson will officiate. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church immediately following the service. Interment will be in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Deer River, MN.
