Robert "Jim" Moore, age 84, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at his home.

Jim was born in 1940 to Robert and Iva Moore in Deer River, MN. Jim graduated from Grand Rapids High School and attended DeVry University before serving in the United States Navy.  On October 7, 1967, Jim was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Betty" Becker in Coates, Minnesota.  He worked as a TV Repairman, owning and operating his own business as well as working for others in the area.  Jim's hobbies included woodworking, taking photos, and spending time with family and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; and his half-sister, Phyllis Dills.

Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Betty; children, Philip Moore of Grand Rapids, Barbara Vernig of Grand Rapids, Robert (Holly) Moore of Bovey, and Valarie (Patrick) Basten of Zimmerman; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Gaylen Moore of Kent, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM prior to the service. Lay Pastor Mary Shideler will officiate.  Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset, MN at a later date.
