Roger Allen Bruggemeyer, Sr. , 92, passed away November 14, 2022. Roger began his aviation career through the US Naval Aviation Cadet Program at Pensacola, Florida. After graduating he transferred to the United States Marine Corps, where he was assigned to numerous jet fighters, propeller attack aircraft and cargo planes. While in the USMC Reserves, Roger began his commercial flying career with TWA, Western Airlines and finally ending at Northwest Airlines, where 29 years later he retired flying the Boeing 747.

He traveled the world with Elizabeth, his wife of 69 years. An avid golfer, hunter and fisherman, many a trophy head decorated the walls of his different homes. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, sons Roger of St Paul, MN, Mark of Las Vegas, NV, and Kurt of Holmen WI. His daughter Karen preceded him in death in 2006. No services are planned at this time.
