Roger H. Herschbach, age 92, of Bovey, MN passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Home and Comfort Assisted Living, Coleraine, MN.

Roger was born on November 29, 1933, to Hubert and Johanna Herschbach in Grand Rapids, MN.  He graduated from Greenway High School in 1951.  On June 23, 1956, he was united in marriage to Patsy May Fox in Grand Rapids, MN.  Roger was employed with the Danube Mine and then went to work as a civil engineer and in industrial construction for Kvaerner.  Due to his career in construction, Roger traveled across the United States and Puerto Rico.  Following his retirement, Roger and Patsy made their home in Bovey, MN.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, telling stories, watching football and baseball, and singing with the "Country Legends".  Roger was a member of the American Legion in Warba, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patsy; son, Dana Herschbach; brother, Wayne Herschbach; and sister, Patricia Gilbert.

Roger is survived by his two daughters; Dawn (Steven) Heikkila of Ishpeming, MI and Darcy (Michael) Gay of Pataskala, OH; two sons, Darren Herschbach of Bovey and Dean Herschbach of Bovey; one brother Gerald (Terry) Herschbach of Bovey, MN; 19 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN.  Burial will be at a later date at Hazelwood Cemetery, Blackberry, Minnesota.
