Ronald Spencer Rudd, 67, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away suddenly on April 27th, 2026 at his home.

Ronny was born December 2nd, 1958, in Grand Rapids, MN where he lived his entire life. In his youth he loved snow and water skiing, riding his motorcycles, and getting into trouble with his brothers and friends. Lake life was his favorite. Ronny graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1977. He worked at Blandin Paper Company for 40 years.

Ronny had three daughters from his first marriage of 18 years. In 2001, Ron married Karen Kammeier and enjoyed 24 years of marriage. Ron has always loved and cared for Karen's three children as his own.

Ronny will be remembered for his selfless generosity of helping others. He loved to remodel, fix, build, and do carpentry. He loved and often designed and built things for his children and grandchildren and fixed their vehicles in his garage. He was a good teacher. If you knew Ron, he most likely had assisted in some way in building your garage or house. After retirement, he enjoyed pontoon rides, jet skiing, and traveling.
Ron is survived by his wife, Karen Rudd (Kammeier); His children, daughter Chrissy (Tom) Eisenmenger, daughter Katie (Nick) Rupert, daughter Kimberly (Matt) Hurst; Other children, Jennifer (Brian) Wagner, Michelle Bemrose, David (Gina) Bemrose; His grandchildren, Thomas and Mariah (Eisenmenger), Nicholas, Benjamin, William, Abigail and Kathryn (Rupert), Mason, Carter, Matthew and Kyzer (Hurst), Ashlyn and Marcus (Wagner), Tiara (Sutherland), Ryan and Ben (Meese); great-grandson Brooks (Haugen).

He is also survived by his siblings, sister Shirley (Al) Zachman and brother Randy Rudd; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Spencer and Ione Rudd, his brother, Richard Rudd, his sister-in-law Nancy Rudd, his grandchildren, Timothy and Andrew Rupert.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 15th, 2026, at 10:00 am at Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church, followed by the 11:00 am Celebration of Life service with a light lunch to follow.
