Ron Beckers, 56, of Taconite, MN passed away peacefully at St Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN early in the morning in the company of his sister on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Ron was born in 1967 in Grand Rapids, MN to Raymond and Elizabeth Beckers.  He had a technical degree in diesel mechanics from Hibbing Technical College and an associate degree in business administration from Itasca Community College. He had loved his work as a lineman. He could run equipment of just about any sort- the bigger the better.

Ron is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his father, Ray Beckers; his sister, Linda Jo Beckers; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 beginning at 1 pm at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN with a memorial service to follow at 2 PM. Pastor Jason Schiller will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, MN.
