Sandra "Sandy" Jo Meyer , age 56, from Pengilly, MN, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 in Duluth, MN.

Sandy Goss was born in 1966 in Grand Rapids, MN to Samuel A. and Phyllis Goss. She grew up in Calumet and attended Greenway high school, where she graduated. On February 17, 1986, she gave birth to her son, Samuel Goss. Sandy went on to attend Itasca Community College for accounting and insurance. She started her career at American Family Insurance before moving on to Greater Insurance Company. After that, she worked for the United States Postal Service as a head clerk for eight and a half years where she was working until her passing. On August 17, 1996, Sandy married Steve Meyer. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, fishing, four-wheeling, hanging out and enjoying Happy Hour with friends.

Sandy is preceded in death by her son, Samuel Goss; father, Samuel A. Goss; grandparents, maternal and paternal; father-in-law, Peter Meyer; and brother-in-law, Larry Meyer. She is survived by her husband, Steve Meyer; step-son, Jeremy (Jackie) Meyer; grandsons, Tucker and Landon Meyer; mother, Phyllis Heino; sisters, Tammi (Johnny) Bacigalupo, and Roxane Goss; daughter-in-law, Lindsay Goss;  granddaughters, Gemma and Sutton Goss;  sisters-in-law, Lynn (Kurt) Mangseth, LuRae (Jim) Smith, and Shelly Johnson; mother-in-law, Betty Meyer; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of her family and friends will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 11 AM – 2 PM at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, MN. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine, MN. The celebration of Sandy's Life will continue at Dozer's Bar and Grill in Pengilly following the time at the cemetery.
