Sandra Dee Washburn, age 57, passed away on November 2, 2024 in Duluth, Minnesota.

Sandra was born December 3, 1966 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, daughter of Edward and Murial "Dee" Rassier of Hill City, Minnesota.  She graduated from Hill City High School in 1985.  She graduated from Cosmetology School in St. Cloud and Duluth, Minnesota.

Sandy was married to Brian Lepasti and lived in Ely, Minnesota for a short time.  She married Tim Washurn in 2001.  They lived in Hill City and Spang area.  Together, Sandy and Tim owned and operated Rassier School Bus Service from 2000 to 2010.

Sandra is preceded in death by her first husband, Brian Lepasti and her husband, Tim Washurn in 2019 and step-son, Rick.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Julia) Rassier; her father and mother, Ed and Dee Rassier; two brothers, Mark (Mitchie) and Terry (Marilynne); two sisters, MaryAnne (Pat) and Tamara; step-son, Tim; grandchildren, Damon, Kinley, and Spencer; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; also, her Godfather, George Rauzi and significant other, David Benson.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2024 at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  A Celebration of her Life will be held from 12 Noon – 2 :00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Spang Town Hall, 35402 Spang Road, Hill City, Minnesota.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
