Shaloy E. Bignall, age 90, died Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Majestic Pines Assisted Living in Grand Rapids, MN.

Shaloy was born in 1933 to Donald and Neva Tilden in Grand Rapids, MN where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1951. Shaloy worked as a switchboard operator until marrying, where she stayed home to raise her family. Shaloy loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and traveling with her husband, Duane, to Alaska.

Shaloy is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter, Ramona Magenin; stepson, Barney Bignall; and brothers, Vern and Charles Tilden. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Wilma) Tilden; stepdaughter, Peggy (Ed) Schagh; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Per Shaloy's wishes, no service will be held. Burial will be at Hill Lake Cemetery.
