Sheila Colleen (Howg) Deutsch, age 79 of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Autumn Lane Assisted Living in Cohasset, MN.

Sheila was born December 25, 1943, in Roseau, MN to George and Vearl (Randall) Howg.

On July 25, 1959, Sheila was united in marriage to Robert Deutsch in Cohasset, MN where they made their home.  Sheila and Bob were long time Cohasset residents where they owned and operated Bob's Bar, Restaurant and Off Sale for over 40 years.  They raised four children with and extra addition of Tike Sutherland.  Working in a bar she made many good friends over the years, but her family was always the most important part of her life. Sheila loved gatherings with her family, always cooking huge meals.  Christmas was always made extra special, not only was it Christmas but her birthday as well.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Bob in 2013; son Rick in 2018; brothers Gene, Dale, and sister Sheryl.

Sheila is survived by her children Gregg (Michelle), Todd (Kim), Tami; daughter-in-law Janet; grandchildren Rick (Melissa) Deutsch, Becky (Billy) Boucher, Andrea (Brandon) Grugel, Adam (Abbie) Bradley, Derrick Deutsch, Danielle (Cord) Reno, Amanda (Cole) Knudson, Diana (Matt) Kluthe, David Deutsch, Emily Rakos, Tegan; great grandchildren Rick, Robert, Amalia Deutsch, Josilyn, Avery Boucher, Lexi, Jackson, Remi Knudson, Leightyn Bradley, Bodin Reno; sisters Marilyn (Ron) Geving, Valerie (Eugene) Carpenter; many nieces and nephews, and friends.
