Sheila Lund, age 53, passed away at her home Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in Deer River, MN.

Sheila was born in 1970 to Richard and Virginia Wille in Bemidji, MN. She grew up in Deer River and graduated from Deer River High School. Sheila worked at Wille Transport, where she met her future husband, Tim, and later married July 16, 1988. She then stayed home to raise their children until they graduated. She worked as a personal care assistant and nanny before settling in at the Deer River Credit Union, where she enjoyed making connections with, and helping, customers for nearly 10 years.

Sheila's greatest joy in life came from her family. Whether it was a quiet dinner, a large get-together at the river, or a cutthroat game of cribbage, she found peace when surrounded by loved ones. Sheila greatly cared for others and spent countless hours volunteering her time for various causes or looking for people to help. She will be remembered by all for her generous and loving spirit, and a smile that could brighten anyone's day.

Sheila is preceded in death by her mother, "Pinky" Wille. She is survived by her father, "Dick" Wille; stepmother, Sandra Bail Wille; husband, Tim; children, Ginger Lund, Rielly Lund; sisters, Rochelle (Greg) Maki, Shawna (Mike) Wager; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Cohasset, MN followed by the 11:00 AM memorial service. Rev. Mark Peske will officiate.
