Shirley J. Lindahl, age 70, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully surround by family at The Lodge at Grand Village on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Shirley was born in 1954 to William and Alma Hansen in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in the Hopkins area, but always talked about all the time she spent at the lake house on Goose Lake in Stark, MN. After meeting the love of her life, Robert in Stark, they were married on April 6, 1974 in Hopkins. The pair moved to Grand Rapids in 1983.

Shirley attended Itasca Community College and graduated with her associates degree. She worked various jobs along the years, retiring from L&M, but her biggest challenge, she always said, was wrangling her four children, they always had her on her toes. But she enjoyed every minute with them.

Shirley enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales with friends, going to her grandchildren's sporting events, and drawing up house designs, but she loved spending time with her family most of all. She was an amazing lady that was kind, sweet, caring, willing to help anyone that needed it.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her parents. Shirley is survived by her children; Bryan (Sara) Lindahl, Kenneth "Homer" (Kris) Lindahl, Willie (Lizzy) Lindahl, Kari (Josh) Luken; brother, Raymond (Pat) Tuenge; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one niece, and three nephews.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Goodland Community Center in Goodland, Minnesota.
