Skyler Rae Bischoff, age 26, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 after a battle of epilepsy in Grand Rapids, MN.

Sky was born in 1999 in St. George, UT. He was raised in Grand Rapids, MN where he attended local schools and graduated in 2017 from Grand Rapids High School. Sky was a vibrant spirit known for his sharp mind and love of numbers, and the ability to give out random facts about almost everything.  He took pride in the unusual and random way he dressed. His trusty ride, Rapid Taxi, was a familiar sight around town, symbolizing his connection to the community he cherished so deeply. He loved going to Bass and Pokegama Lakes. In his spare time, he enjoyed yard games and going to the movies. Sky was more than just a talented prankster and an unforgettable Zamboni driver; he was a good kid at heart who valued his friends and family above all. His goofiness loyalty and kindness will be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sky is preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete Schaefer; and sister, Lindsey Madsen. He is survived by his parents, Lena (Pat) Chapman; and Steven Phillips; sisters, Sunshine Bischoff (Kaden), Leisha (Basem) Oftedahl, and Kiera Chapman; nieces, Saylor, Brooklyn, London, and Nadia; and extended family and friends.

A celebration of Sky's life will be held at the Dutchroom, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from noon until 3:00 PM.
