Tamera Sue Rassier-Sandvik, age 56, passed away on July 16, 2025 in Duluth, Minnesota.

Tam was born October 16, 1968 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, daughter of Edward and Muriel "Dee" Rassier of Hill City, Minnesota.  She graduated from Hill City High School in 1987.  She attended Vermillion Community College in Ely, Minnesota.

Tam married Dale Sandvik and lived in Hill City, Remer, and later Bradenton, Florida for a few years. They owned and operated LJ's Bar in Remer for a few years.  Later, Tam returned to Hill City where she worked as a truck driver for Ulland Brothers Construction of Cloquet, Minnesota for 11 years.  She was a member of  IUOE Local 49 Union and Teamsters General Local 346 for eleven years.

Tamara is preceded in death by her sister and "partner in crime," Sandra "Sandy" Washburn and her grandparents, Duane and Lila Hughes and Nick and June Rassier.

She is survived by her mother and father, Dee and Ed Rassier; two brothers, Mark (Mitchie) Rassier and Terry (Marilynne) Rassier; sister, MaryAnne (Pat) Mathers; significant other, Tim Saunders; step-children, Shannon Sandvik and Brian Sandvik; step-grandchildren, Marcus, Brady and Taylor Wagner; many cousins, uncles and aunts. and nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 -7:00 PM Friday, August 1, 2025 at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  A Celebration of her Life will be held from 12 Noon – 2 :00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Swatara Community Hall, Swatara, Minnesota.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
