Teresa "Terri" Anne Nelson, age 71, of Warba, MN, went home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN.

Terri was born August 3, 1952, to Alden and Lois Holmes in Duluth, MN. The family moved to Shallow Lake in Warba in 1954, where they operated a campground. Terri graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1970. In 1971, Terri married Ron Nelson. They moved to Goodland in 1978 where they raised their three children.

Terri loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a talented musician, teaching herself to play several instruments. Her passion was prayer ministry. She was a powerful prayer warrior. She had a humble spirit and a gentle soul. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jon Holmes; brother-in-law, Roger Nelson; daughter, Kerry Heiniemi; and nephew, Aaron Felix. She is survived by her husband, Ron; son, Brian (Niki Voll) Nelson; daughter, Jodi (Tim) Esler; sister, Laurie (David) Marshall; sister-in-law, Rebecca Holmes; brother-in-law, Randy Nelson; grandchildren, Felicia (Zach) Pocquette, Shauni Nelson, Kyla Esler, Jace, Gabe, Aysli, and Jovie Heiniemi; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Goodland Community Center in Goodland, MN at 10:00 AM and lasting until the 11 AM funeral service. Rev. Alice Christianson will be officiating. Burial will be at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Floodwood, MN.
