Teresa "Teri" Roy, age 66, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Teresa Kay "Teri" was born November 11, 1956, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Melvin and Donna (Hron) Hauff.  She grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated with the Class of 1975 from Grand Rapids High School.

After high school Teri began her working life at Goldfines, then later worked for Bridgeman's. It was about this time that Teri met her future husband, Tim Roy.  On July 10, 1982, she and Tim were united in marriage at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Rapids.  Teri and Tim raised their son Tyler and have resided in Grand Rapids their entire married life.  She continued to work at various businesses in Grand Rapids including River Road Market, Kmart, and Cub Foods.

Teri loved hockey, especially the Minnesota Wild.  She also enjoyed fishing, and an "occasional" trip to the casinos.  At the center of her life was her love of family and being together for all the holidays.

Teri is survived by her husband Tim and son Tyler; sisters Diane Blanchard (Rick Priebe) of Grand Rapids, MN, Janet (Tom) Downing of Grand Rapids, MN, Debbie (Kevin) Kutina of Balsam Lake, WI; father-in-law Henry Roy of Grand Rapids, MN; a multitude of family on her husband's side including brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law Marcia and Duane Gannon; nephew Ryan Gannon; mother-in-law Catherine Roy.

A Celebration of Teri's Life will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, MN.
