Thomas Jacob Lawson

Thomas Jacob Lawson, age 71, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, surrounded by family at his home.

Tom was born in 1955 in Minneapolis, MN to Kenneth and Leah Lawson. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1973. Following high school, Tom attended Anoka Vo-Tech for welding. He worked in the auto sales industry for over 30 years. On April 12, 2002, he was united in marriage to Cindy Knutson in Monticello, MN. Tom and Cindy moved to Grand Rapids, MN in 2006. Tom worked in the service department at Grand Rapids Marine for last 11 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, auto racing and was a member of Duck’s Unlimited.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Kenna Lawson.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Chelsy (Nikki Seiberlich) Lawson of LaPorte, MN, and Kassi Lawson of Grand Rapids, MN; one son, Jacob Lawson of Chisholm, MN; two sisters, Jacki (Jerry) Miller of Cedar, MN and Sharon (Pete) Nelson of Coon Rapids, MN; and one grandson, Leighton.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 beginning at 10:00 AM with a memorials service to follow at 11:00 AM at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN.
