Violet D. Sansburn, age 91, of Bovey, MN, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at The Emerald's in Grand Rapids, MN.

Violet was born in 1933 to Richard and Madge Gallagher in Frazee, MN. She graduated from Frazee High School and was united in marriage to John Sansburn in 1952. She was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1998. Violet and John enjoyed traveling all over the world and they spent their winters in Arizonia. Violet was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and Fraternal Order of Eagle Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; sons, John and Gerald Sansburn; a sister; and her brothers. Violet is survived by her daughter, Leslyn Gunderson of Bovey, MN; grandchild, Kirstin (Tony) Rivard; and one great-grandchild, Cassidy Rivard.

Per Violet's request, no services will be held at this time.  Burial will take place at a later date at the Perham Village Cemetery, Perham, MN.
