Virginia "Ginger" M. (Noyes) Bloch, age 89, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Aspen Circle of Bigfork Valley Hospital, Bigfork, MN.

Ginger was born on February 13, 1934, in Hayward, WI to Ralph and Rose (Guddendorf) Noyes.  The family moved to Minneapolis, MN where she attended school through the 11th grade, and later obtained her GED on October 7, 1987, sharing her achievement with great joy to her surprised and proud family.  Through years of servitude as a CNA in the Bigfork Nursing Home, then becoming a Certified Home Health Aide on April 27, 1990, she brought the same loving care to the residents as she did her own family.  Ginger ended her career employed as an Information Assistant for the Chippewa National Forest at the Ranger Station in Marcell.  This career not only brought her much happiness, the love of God's Creation was emanate as she greeted the public, assisted them and shared all she knew with visitors from all over.  Ginger was a member of the Grace Community Church, GCC WELCA, TOPS, and Swampsiders Snowmobile Club.

On December 1, 1951, Ginger married the love of her life, John Bloch in Minneapolis, MN, where they began a 'family' life of seven children in New Brighton.  1972 moved them to rural Bigfork as they made their beloved cabin a permanent home, where the call of the loons, pontoon rides and walks on the gravel road were enjoyed.   Ginger's greatest pride and joys began with her own children, added mates- which she took into her heart as her own and then the grands and great grandchildren.  Ginger's foundation of Faith – Family and Friendship never faltered as she loved any and all who came into her life unconditionally.  Her wisdom, love, faith and contentment, along with her wit, ditties and songs, will be her families' greatest treasures.

Ginger is preceded in death by her husband, John; grandson, Tavye John; parents; brothers; Ronald (spouse, Sumie) Noyes, and James Noyes; son-in-law, David Thoennes; and daughter-in-law, Christine Bloch.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Kristin) Bloch, Timothy Bloch, Daniel (Deb) Bloch; daughters, Sandra Thoennes, Joni (Jeremy) Cable, Cynthia Wheeler, Teresa (Randy) Savich; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way; sisters, Molly (Gene) Senkbeil and Elaine (Wayne) Ives; brother, Richard (Kathleen) Noyes.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, 11:00 AM at Grace Community Church, Bigfork, followed by the 12:00 PM memorial service. Deaconess Dianna Schumacher will officiate. Ginger and her husband John will be interred at the Bigfork Cemetery following the service.
