William "Bill" Henry Broking, age 65, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Bill was born in 1958 to John and Deloris Broking in Grand Rapids, MN. Growing up, he helped run their business, Broking's Gas Station. Bill married Linda Juusola in May of 1981.

While living in Williston, North Dakota, he delivered products for oil, until they shut down. He then worked at a tire shop until he and his family moved back to Minnesota. Bill held numerous jobs, including Cole's Forest Products, Can Do Disposal, 3 B's Construction, and Rajala Lumber until they closed. He finished his working career with ASV, until he was forced to retire in 2020 due to cancer.

Bill had a passion for hunting, fishing, and small engine repair, which got him the nickname "the lawn mower man". He loved his family very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cindy; brother, Jim; and brother-in-law, Steven. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda; children, Billie Jo (Kevin) Stokke, Vickie (Eric) Peterson, and Patrick (Koby) Broking; grandchildren, Alexis, Carter, and Kiaja Stokke, Paige Patterson, Bryson and Baya Broking; siblings, Rosalie "Joy" (Butch) Paul, John (Shirley) Broking, Dolly (Gary) Holms, Joe (Joanne) Broking, Jerry (Brenda) Broking; in-laws, Tim and Cheryl Randall and Kerry and Susan Heine; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Rowe Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 PM lasting until 6:00 PM with a time of sharing beginning at 5:00 PM.
