William "Bill" Robert Foix, age 70, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 14, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Bill was born October 28, 1953, to Robert and Cecelia (Rossiter) Foix and raised in Grand Rapids.  Following his time served in the US Army, Bill returned to Grand Rapids and worked at MP&L for over 30 years.  In his free time, Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and traveling with his wife.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Yasmin.  He is survived by his wife Kay (Selander); children, Susanne (Steffen) Bestmann, Christopher (fiance Shelly Nelson), Stephanie; stepchildren, Kim (Jamie) Murto and Jason Ruff; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Ginny) and Tracy (Carole); sisters, Vicki (Dale) Benes, Janice (Mike) Heegard and Linda (Harry) Griffith; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill's family would like to extend their gratitude to Majestic Pines Memory Care staff for their kindness, compassion, and support.

Burial and military honors at Harris Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 12:00 PM .A celebration of life will follow at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN  1:00-3:00pm.
