William "Bill" Peter, 88, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024. He was a resident of Minneapolis, MN, and Ft. Myers Beach, FL.

Bill graduated from Patrick Henry High School, then served in the US Marine Corps. He became a teacher and that's where he met the love of his life, Pam. Shortly after marrying Pam, Bill went on to be an engineer with Mereen Johnson and eventually branched off and started his own business, Progressive Systems, Inc. Bill was a popular, hands-on, highly credentialed 'boss' who excelled at understated humility, both with his employees and customers. He was a high integrity individual, a mentor to all, and a true man of character. During their years together, they raised four children and had 44 wonderful loving years as a couple until Pam passed away in 2012.

Bill was always the life of the party and loved to entertain. He will be remembered as a very fun loving, generous, and kind-hearted man that was loved by so many. His positivity was contagious.

Eight years ago, Bill hosted and celebrated his milestone 80th birthday party for over 100 of his family, friends and employees. It was a joyous celebration of a life well lived, attended by everyone that mattered most to him.  In our final tribute to Bill, his family invites you to go out to lunch, watch a sunset, or raise a glass to celebrate an amazing man and the legacy he leaves behind.
