William "Bill" R. Lesar, age 79, of Coleraine, MN passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Home and Comfort Assisted Living, Coleraine, MN.

Bill was born in 1944 to Joseph and Olive Lesar in Hibbing, MN.  He was a lifelong resident of the Grand Rapids Area.  He was a very loving father to his four children, Theresa, Laura, Ryan, and Logan.  Bill touched so many hearts in many ways and he will not be forgotten.  He was an avid baseball fan.

The family of Bill Lesar wishes to thank the staff of Home and Comfort for taking wonderful care of him over the years and to Itasca Hospice for the care they gave him at the end of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Olive Lesar; and his sons, Ryan and Logan Lesar.

He is survived by his two daughters, Theresa (Justin Moore) Fitch of Lake Nabagamon, WI and Laura Lesar of Grand Rapids, MN; brother, David (Judy) Lesar of California; sister, Judy Czeskleba of Reno, NV; 5 grandchildren; former wife, Elizbeth Sanders-Allen of Grand Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.  Fr. Blake Rozier will officiate.
